Got my Christmas Joe-Joes from Trader Joe's already, besides the fact that Larson's is blowing up with the holiday sales and gift wrapping. Schools almost over. I'm gettin in the mood early this year. Natalie is a classic Christmasy brunette.

Uno's illustrations remind me of the ones in Dorrie and the Blue Witch, which was one of my favorite books growing up. I actually was obsessed with witches and magic powers. I actually collected books about witches when I was little. For a long time I thought I'd name my daughter Dorrie if I ever have one, but then Finding Nemo and Ellen DeGeneres ruined it for me. We'll see.
