"Neon Baroque"

I typed the words "Neon Baroque" into google images, and discovered they translated into images with the aesthetic I was trying to convey in this post. The aesthetic is incorporating this new trend of neon (in art, fashion, and home decor), but with a punk/Sex Pistols - "God Save the Queen" and French Baroque styling. Anyways, I dig it, especially these mirrors I've posted below. I've seen this same style by Design of Love, Stephen Sprouse for Louis Vuitton, and in this image. What are these juxtapositions in styling about? Seems like it's a comment on society, classism, art, and fashion. I'd say the Baroque era was very "Trickle Down," and I love the fact that today art and fashion seem to be very "Trickle Up".
