My boyfriend thinks we need a butter dish, and I can't believe with all the designed items my work carries, there is no butter dish. For some reason butter dishes make me think of my grandma and antique markets, don't get me wrong I like antiques and I loove my grandma, and that kind of decor is blended into modern homes all the time, I just don't think it will work for mine. I need something modern! The Alessi design below is out of my price range, so I might settle for this toast tray by Fred & Friends even though without a lid, it kind of defeats the purpose! The walnut butter dish by Japanese designer Masanori is also quite nice, and has a lid, but again out of my price range.
